It’s the last stretch and I feel like I won’t be able to cross the finish line this year. I know I still have five days but I know when saying “I’ll try harder” doesn’t cut it anymore.
I took an unwise one week vacation from writing during the challenge and I think that cut my progress and dimmed the possibility of me finishing this year. Regardless, I do not regret resting.
Tip for my future self:
Don’t drive yourself to the ground because once down it will take time to get back up.
I still have hopes that I might cross at least the 30k word mark but I’m not going to set up scores for now, we’ll see how it goes. For now, it’s 00:22 hrs here now in Bulgaria and I’m continuing with my story… let’s see if they want to get married now or dance their way to the next chapter.
